Eno Etchings

A series of etchings using song titles as their starting points. These works were an exploration of the etching process and combine hard ground, soft ground and multi-plate techniques.

Marx Made

Looking at the idea of the multiple, these works negate the impersonal nature of mass production by using repeat processes to instead create one-off banners featuring patterns with domestic and handmade themes. By individually hand-printing the blocks of a repeat pattern, adding hand stitched detail, and using ink and thread to create variation, patterns break down and become organic, and every print becomes unique. This series was inspired by William Morris and his writing on the Arts and Craft movement.
